Refer a Friend Terms & Conditions

1. About This Addendum

These Refer a Friend Program Terms ("Referral Terms") apply to the Lotiwins "Refer a Friend" promotional program (the "Program") available at lotiwins.co.ls/refer-a-friend. The Referral Terms supplement, and should be read together with, the main Lotiwins Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms not defined here (for example, "Site", "Prize Draw", "Account") have the meaning given to them in the Terms and Conditions.

If there is a conflict between these Referral Terms and the main Terms and Conditions on a matter specific to the Program, these Referral Terms apply. On everything else — eligibility, account rules, prize claims, liability, governing law — the main Terms and Conditions apply in full.

By generating or sharing a referral link, or by joining Lotiwins using someone else's referral link, you agree to these Referral Terms.

2. How the Program Works

Each Account holder can generate a unique personal referral link from their Account and share it with friends, family, or their social media followers. Once you have completed the referrer qualification below, a friend who joins Lotiwins using your referral link and later makes a qualifying Maloti entry (a paid, cash entry) earns you entries into that month's Refer a Friend Prize Draw.

To earn free entries from a referred friend's qualifying activity, the referrer must first complete a successful deposit and a cash entry into a prize draw. Both must take place before the friend's activity that earns those entries; earlier activity does not earn entries retrospectively.

Ticket rate: you earn 1 ticket for every M1 your referred friends spend on qualifying paid, cash Prize Draw entries during the current calendar month, after you have met the referrer requirements.
The more your referred friends spend on qualifying cash entries after you meet the referrer requirements, the more tickets you earn, and the greater your chance of winning the Refer a Friend Prize Draw that month.

3. Who Can Take Part

You must hold a valid, verified Lotiwins Account and meet the eligibility requirements in the main Terms and Conditions (including being 18 or over) to refer friends or to earn Refer a Friend tickets.
You cannot refer yourself. Registering a second account of your own using your own referral link, or otherwise engineering entries to credit yourself, is a breach of these Referral Terms and of clause 10 (Prohibited Conduct) of the main Terms and Conditions.
A person may be a referred friend of only one referrer — the account that first successfully referred them.

4. Earning and Counting Tickets

After those referrer requirements have been met, Refer a Friend tickets accrue automatically to your Account when a friend you referred makes a qualifying cash entry.

Tickets earned under the Program have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred, or exchanged, and cannot be used to enter any Prize Draw other than the Refer a Friend Prize Draw.
If a referred friend's payment is later reversed, refunded, or found fraudulent, then the referrer’s corresponding tickets will be removed retroactively.

5. Monthly Reset and Qualifying Period

The Program runs on a rolling calendar-month basis. Your ticket count for the Refer a Friend Prize Draw resets to zero at the start of each month and reflects only qualifying spend by your referred friends during that current month — spend from a previous month does not carry over, and tickets are not banked between months.

6. The Refer a Friend Prize Draw

The Refer a Friend Prize Draw is a separate monthly Prize Draw from the other Prize Draws on the Site. You must hold at least one ticket, earned as described above, to be entered.
The prize value can change from month to month. The current month's prize is shown in the Refer a Friend section of the Site and applies only to that month's draw.
Winner selection, verification, notification, and prize claim procedures for the Refer a Friend Prize Draw follow the same principles set out in clauses 7 and 8 of the main Terms and Conditions (random selection from all valid entries; identity and age verification before payout).

7. Sharing Your Referral Link

You are responsible for how you share your referral link, including on social media. You must not:

share your link in a way that is false, misleading, or implies Lotiwins endorses a claim it has not made;
spam or send unsolicited bulk messages containing your link;
share your link on a platform, or in a manner, that breaches that platform's own terms of use;
share your link with, target, or knowingly encourage any person under the age of 18 years to register for, access, or participate on Lotiwins

We may deactivate a referral link, and remove tickets earned through it, where we reasonably believe it has been shared in breach of this clause.

8. Fraud and Abuse

In addition to clause 10 of the main Terms and Conditions, the following are treated as abuse of the Program and may result in forfeited tickets, a voided Refer a Friend prize, and suspension or termination of the accounts involved:

creating or controlling multiple accounts to refer yourself, directly or through a friend or family member acting on your behalf;
encouraging a referred friend to make cash entries for the sole purpose of generating tickets, with no genuine intention of participating in a Prize Draw, followed by a refund request or chargeback;
any other activity intended to artificially inflate ticket counts under the Program.

Where we reasonably suspect abuse, we may withhold a Refer a Friend prize pending investigation and may recalculate or void affected tickets.

9. Changes to, or Ending the Program

We may change the ticket rate, the monthly reset mechanics, or any other feature of the Program, or end the Program entirely, at any time, by posting an update on the Site. Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice of a material change. Tickets you have already earned for the current month at the time of a change will still be entered into that month's Refer a Friend Prize Draw, unless the Program is withdrawn for legal or regulatory reasons, in which case we will act reasonably towards affected participants (for example, by running the draw as scheduled using tickets earned to that point, or by another remedy we consider fair).

10. Privacy

Referral activity (who referred whom and qualifying spend used to calculate tickets) is recorded and linked to both accounts) is processed to operate the Program, on the same lawful bases (contract performance) described in the Privacy Policy. No additional personal data about your friend beyond their registration and entries is shared with you as the referrer.
